Sunday Lunch taking place at the Croud Meadow on Sunday, May 17.

Shrewsbury Town will open its doors on Sunday, May 17, as the club hosts a special Sunday Lunch at the Croud Meadow.

Taking place in the Sovereign Suite, the event offers supporters the chance to enjoy a relaxed afternoon of great food and company in one of the stadium’s premier hospitality spaces

Guests can enjoy a two-course meal for £32.95 per person or opt for a three-course meal priced at £38.95 per person.

Prices for children are £16.50 for a two-course meal and £19.50 for a three course.

Places are limited, so advance booking is advised. Doors will open at 12pm, with lunch served from 1pm.

The menu for the day is as follows: 

Starters: 

* Chicken liver pate, toasted ciabatta, house chutney & green leaf salad 

* Smoked salmon with cucumber ribbons & a red onion and caper salsa 

* Duo of sweet melon with Lemon sorbet & forest fruit coulis 

Mains: 

* Finest Roast Topside of beef served traditionally with homemade Yorkshire pudding & red wine gravy 

* Slow Cooked Lamb Shank in Homemade Red Wine Gravy 

* Pan Fried Salmon with white wine & cream sauce 

* Caramelised Red onion & goat’s cheese tart served with a cherry tomato & chive sauce 

Main courses are served with a selection of freshly prepared seasonal vegetables and potatoes 

Dessert: 

* Seasonal fruit crumble with vanilla custard 

* Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce & vanilla seed ice cream 

* Lemon Tart with fruit coulis & ice cream 

Followed by freshly brewed tea or coffee with chocolate mints.
