We may update and change the Site from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our users' needs and our business priorities. We may also suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Site for business and operational reasons, and will try to give reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal where we can.

4. Accessing the Site

The Site is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We will not be liable to you if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Site, and for ensuring that all persons who access the Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.

5. Your Account

If you register for an account, or are given (or choose) a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat that information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any account or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of these Terms.

You are responsible for any activity carried out under your account. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your login details, you must promptly notify us using the contact details in section 2.

You must ensure that the information you provide to us is accurate and kept up to date.

6. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
  • In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, discriminatory or inflammatory.
  • To bully, insult, intimidate, harass or abuse any person.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam).
  • To knowingly transmit any data, or send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

You also agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of the Site in contravention of these Terms.
  • Access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of the Site, any equipment or network on which the Site is stored, any software used in the provision of the Site, or any equipment, network or software owned or used by any third party.

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this acceptable use section. When a breach has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate, including withdrawing your right to use the Site, removing content, and where appropriate disclosing information to law-enforcement authorities.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and in the material published on it (including text, graphics, logos, club crest, photographs, video, and design). These works are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws around the world. All such rights are reserved.

The Shrewsbury Town Football Club name, crest and associated marks are the property of the Club and may not be used without our prior written permission.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

You must not use any part of the content on the Site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us.

8. Content You Submit to the Site

Where the Site allows you to upload, submit or post content (for example, comments, competition entries, or contributions to interactive features), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, copy, adapt, publish and distribute that content in connection with the Club and the Site.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit, and you confirm that:

  • The content is your own, or you have the right to make it available to us.
  • The content complies with the acceptable use provisions in section 6.

Any content you submit will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We have the right to remove any content you post if, in our opinion, it does not comply with these Terms.

We do not endorse the opinions or views of users expressed through any interactive feature or otherwise on the Site.

9. Ticketing, Retail and Other Services

The Site may provide access to, or links to, services operated by third parties on behalf of or in partnership with the Club, including (without limitation) ticketing and the official online shop.

Purchases of tickets, memberships, merchandise and other goods or services are subject to the separate terms and conditions of the relevant provider, which you should read before purchasing. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Site only, and do not govern the sale of goods or services. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms of sale of a third-party provider in relation to a purchase, the provider's terms of sale will prevail in respect of that purchase.

10. Links and Third-Party Content

Where the Site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. No Reliance on Information

The content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on the Site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on the Site is accurate, complete or up to date.

Fixture dates, kick-off times, ticket prices and other matchday and commercial information are subject to change.

12. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to the Site or any content on it, whether express or implied.

We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

  • Use of, or inability to use, the Site; or
  • Use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Site.

In particular, we will not be liable for any loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

13. Viruses and Security

We do not guarantee that the Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access the Site, and you should use your own virus-protection software.

You must not misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Site. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law-enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities, including, where possible, by disclosing your identity to them.
