Mal Benning reflected on his time at Shrewsbury, praised manager Gavin Cowan and chatted about his final Town game at the Croud Meadow when meeting the media following the draw with Fleetwood.

The wing-back made his 116th Salop appearance in the 2-2 draw with Fleetwood - a match that will be remembered for Ismeal Kabia's outstanding stoppage-time equaliser.

Mal will depart the club at the end of the season - but leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the football club, with the 32-year-old having conducted himself with professionalism and integrity throughout his time in Shropshire.
