Shrewsbury Town looking for Academy Age Group Coach

Shrewsbury Town Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Age Group Coach to help develop the club's next generation of players.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the long-term footballing and personal development of academy players, delivering high-quality coaching sessions in line with the Academy's philosophy, coaching curriculum and performance plan.

Working closely with the academy manager, head of academy coaching and lead phase coaches, the role will focus on creating an environment where players can maximise their potential both on and off the pitch.

Key responsibilities include planning and delivering training sessions, providing regular player feedback, completing performance reviews and match reports, supporting player development plans, and maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare.

Applicants should hold a minimum UEFA B Licence, FA Youth Award, FA Safeguarding qualification, a valid DBS check and a full driving licence.

Previous academy coaching experience and knowledge of EPPP processes are desirable, while a UEFA A Licence and Advanced Youth Award would be advantageous.
